Quinnipiac College School of Law, located in Quinnipiac University, is the youngest law school in the U.S. state of Connecticut, having received full accreditation from the American Bar Association in 1995. The law school was part of the University of Bridgeport until it broke away for Quinnipiac in the early 1990s. The school is currently becoming more selective and has cut the amount of newly admitted students per year in half. In the last year Quinnipiac University School of Law was moved into the third tier in US News Rankings.
